Well we have had a great summer for the band. We made new friends again at Porquis Blues Fest. Sold a lot of cd’s. We met Dan Lessard who is the host of CBC’S Points North. Dan is a greeat guy and he really dug the band and is helping us out.I did an interview with him on July 12th. We talked about The Shaftmen’s background , and how our songs dealt with life in North Eastern Ontario
- dan will be sending our cd down to CBC MUSIC RESOURCES in Toronto. If they go with his recommendation we will give CBC 30 cd’s or so to distribute throughout Canada to all the various cities
